(CDNX:DDE) will showcase 3D cable television delivered through General Instrument Corporation's (NYSE:GIC - news) DCT-5000+ advanced interactive digital consumer terminal at The Western Show. In June of this year, DDD entered into a development agreement with GI to integrate DDD's DeepSee(TM) 2D compatible 3D-transmission technologies with GI's consumer set top terminal. The project will result in the ability to provide consumers with 3D programming that can be watched in either 2D or 3D on the viewer demand. ''Integrating DDD's technology in our consumer set top terminals enables broadcasters to transmit 2D compatible 3D programming using the same single channel as the 2D programming.
