johnd, I am expecting a run up to MSFT's earnings. There had been too much pessimism about MSFT. They have simply kept quiet because they probably did not want to draw too much attention. I think they are just waiting for the fact findings by Judge Jackson. I am guessing that Jackson won't be as tough as he had been appeared to be in court. He wants a settlement and will force the DOJ to reasonable terms by giving them less than they wanted. The stock will rally afterwards, IMHO.
That is one reason not to unload MSFT shares. It is building up strength and should move quickly once the news is out.
