ok, so I've heard of all the places, but Aptos - must be some special place - what's there? Anyone been to Ondine in Sausalito? Straits in SF - heard the infused vodka variations are great? Where do the locals go? Ya know, "when in Rome do as the Romans..." (done the 17 mi drive 6 yrs ago - funny story would take too long here -- where the heck is videoconferencing - much faster than typing; did San Simeon and Nepenthe on that drive) Anything worthwhile inland a bit? I did go to Eberle, Wild Horse, and a few other vineyards -- that's a bit further down near San Luis Obispo. Oh, what the heck, might as well do the drive from SF to LA - where is my spontaneity, gheez. My middle initial is "E" for explorer! Jane, you're not off the hook for Aptos.
