Rudedog--- we have heard about the new tele div in Tex, next was the coming partnership of a major tele provider, now Gates comes out with the miracle phone,,, (going to play hell moving the PALM OS). Seems $illy has decided to "change the vision" or atleast expand it... but CE is not close to the saturation of PALM OS... seems time cpq thinks about the AERO in "your choice" of OS but may hurt the msft relationship....

Why Seattle??

Most of the major telecom companies are in Dallas metroplex,
namely, Ericsson, Alcatel, NEC, Motorola, Nokia, Lucent,
Fujitsu, Samsung, Nortel, GTE, ...

To me it makes sense to stay closure to these companies.

BTW, I work in Telcos division and recently moved back to
Plano, Tx. The guy who is leading Telcos, Larry Schwartz, is young, smart and has proven track record.

I'm excited about the future of this division and this company.
