Bux, I have the hard-copy in front of me and I am typing it word by word : "3com fuels Wireless Internet" ".....(the first portion talked about Sprint PCS) GTE Wireless Corp. (Atlanta) also said it is using equipment from 3COM for its wireless Internet offering, GTE.com. 3Com's CDMA InterWorking Function (IWF) equipment, part of the company's Total Control product line, acts as a gateway between wireless code-division multiple access (CDMA) network and wireline networks. ....." September 20, 1999 Tele.com teledotcom.com I'm not sure about this, but I think either Bell South or Bell Atlantic is also using IWF (but I have no 'data' on this).
