Delbert, I honestly don't believe I would be offended at all if a coach asked the players to kneel for ten seconds and say a short prayer while invoking the name Allah. If I hadn't taught him about other religions at this point in his life, it would be an excellent time to.

My son will be raised valuing all religions, and understanding that different cultures which are represented in our country have different beliefs.

If someone wanted to pray to the Wicca God of mother earth I would feel the same way. As long as I believed the intentions of the person and God like figure were closely aligned with my core values and were honorable ones. Those being honesty, trust, trustworthiness, and courage.

Isn't that what valuing cultural diversity is all about? Or do we only value all elements of cultural diversity except religios ones?
