AAPL is still a PowerPC partner with IBM and Motorola

>> EXCITE reported in error: " The company said that IBM, its former partner in the development of the PowerPC processor,.."<<

Only the IBM/MOT plant/lab ownership-partnership (Somerset , TX.) dissolved and AAPL is still a active PowerPC AIM (AAPL-IBM-MOT) partner .

A good relationship for IBM who sometimes makes more profit than AAPL on some of AAPL's computer products due to having IBM (CPU/DISK/Memory) inside .

IBM and AAPL are the premier tech stock quality plays , and as AAPL will rebound so will IBM after earnings 10/20/99 .

IMHO,
