fyi: CLZR 13.62 .... (1) Reports on 10/21/99 (2) Press release states they will beat forecasts for earnings and revenues. (3) Last 4 qtrs. e.p.s. are .16,.25,.31,.50 = 1.22 (4) This qtrs high est. is .25 (35% tax rate) (5) I think they'll do over .40 (20% tax rate) (6) Float is 4.5 million. (7) Short position is 550,000. (8) 150,000 of the short position is at 14.00+ (9) 350,000 of the short position is at 17.00+ (10) (8) and (9) are my best guesses ..... (11) The reason for the differences in the tax rates is because all the analysts insist on forecasting at a 35% tax rate .... but due to losses in previous years the actual tax rate ... for the year .... will be at 20%. (12) The chart has looked sick since the secondary. (July) (13) Trailing 12 month earnings will approx. $1.46. (14) I cannot figure why the high short postion ... but it maybe due to an argument over a license agreement. (15) I that is all it is about .... the shorts are in trouble. (16) This company will easily exceed $2.00 e.p.s. (20% tax provision) this year. (17) their competitors are ESCM (see there 1 yr chart and you will get the picture) and COHR (paid $65 million for a competing product that will probably do ... just ok) (18) I am very long this stock. (19) If you have any financial questions ... please post me. (20) Technically, the stock has been under, way under its MACD center line. But I think this is about to change. regards, John McCarthy
