PPOD is not a "big guy." WBVN will have over $600.0 MM in cash when they complete their IPO and they are going to crush PPOD. PPOD's sales are flat and as of June 30, 1999 their cash reserves were down to $20.0 MM. From "The Industry Standard":

thestandard.com

"...Webvan also will open for business in Chicago and Seattle by the end of next year. Presumably, it hasn't chosen these cities randomly. Chicago is home to rival Peapod (PPOD) , and Seattle is the base of HomeGrocer.com..."

CBJR,

>>....will be AMZN in the on-line grocery market<<

bigcharts.com Go there when you have a couple of minutes and do an Interactive chart comparing AMZN and PPOD. I don't think so. I've been long PPOD a few times and I'm current with it's chart, news, etc. I will only get in again if it moves, not on fundamentals or story.....and IMHO it could go either way. Webvan IPO may give traders some movement.

Good luck,
Bond
