Hi, Uncle Frank:

Could today's early drop (kind of severe) have something to do with Intel's purchase of DSP? Intel has huge and efficient manufacturing capacity. DSP does make CDMA and CDMA2000 chips. Is the acquisition good or bad to Qualcom?

Any one can comment on the license terms between DSP and Qualcom. Note that in the VLSI case, Philips has to renegotiate the terms.

Thank you very much.

Best regards, nimingdn
