Dave you are right in your evaluation. I don't think there is as much naked put selling now as there was in 1987. The speculation is in a different area and mainly in the internet mania stocks that have no earnings and no hope of ever having any earnings. Many people are also leveraged by borrowing money on their homes to invest for higher returns in the market and this is not good. The market has a way of regressing everything back to mean just like traffic lights have a way of slowing you down when you are in a hurry. You are operating exactly right in the market. It is the major hit and or a bear market you are trying to avoid not the daily swings in the market. Keep up the great work and great understanding of this method. Tom Dorsey
