it's definitely NOT fcfs, as i've entered my IOI, came on here to post that something was opened (on 3 different ones), and saw someone had posted about the IPO less than a minute before.

i *think* the last one i got was HOTJ. before that, my history of IPOs which i've gotten (and applied for all that were even remotely decent) is PCLN, RHAT (which obviously i loved), VUSA, RVWD (which i held 30 days), and i think a couple others. that's it...

but since they officially said 'platinums get special allocations', i've gotten 0.

Top,
I wholeheartedly agree with you.
Oldest account only 100 POS EFTD since RHAT.
Second account only 100 POS EFTD since IMGX.
Newest account got BBSW, CGLD and of course POS EFTD.
I believe that the majority of allocations are going to entrap new account holders into thinking that this is an easy game.
Free IPO money. Come one Come all. Yeah Right!
Regards,
Shadowed

I've received 2 IPO's in old, flipped account and only
1 in new account since I opened the new account. Note
that these two accounts are linked to the same SSN.
