The Securities and Exchange Commission ( Commission ) deems it appropriate
and in the public interest to institute public administrative and cease-
and-desist proceedings pursuant to Sections 15(b), 19(h) and 21C of the
Securities Exchange Act of 1934 ( Exchange Act ) against Respondent First
Montauk Securities Corp. ( First Montauk or Respondent ).


Using Mr Kimmel's standards I of course wouldn't disclose this was just a runaway branch office involved with some shady bond trading some years ago - instead I'd mutter darkly about his firm having been censured by the SEC for serious securities law violations and having had to pay a substantial penalty.
