Curmudgeon- wise, we agree. I do not think the Standard is that predictable, and, in any case, anyone who has read these sort of magazines for a long while is not likely to experience many epiphanies. Much that is covered is familiar, after awhile.....

Speaking of curmudgeons, I have a some news:

Washington D.C. will have two less holidays to celebrate next year.
They will no longer celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving.
The witch is leaving town and taking the turkey with her.
