Gee, wasn't hard to beat the new expected numbers." I'd say Apple did a good Financial PR job on this one - Kudos to Steve Jobs & Company. Re: "Not to mention, they lowered the speeds of their new G4 50mhz, and cancelled the pending orders. Gee, they should just stick to the fruity iMacs...." Apple is back to playing IBM off of Motorola - and clearly, that could be the FASTEST road to recovery for the G4 problems. Re: "Come on INTC, I have big faith in you!" Apple well need to be shaken from the ground up for this to happen. I occasionally hear "rumors" of an x86 based MAC system being developed at Apples R & D Skunkworks - and I'd dearly love to see such a machine - but I'm not holding out any hope. The whole decision falls upon Apple - and I'm sure Intel would be more than happy to sell them Pentium ///s - or whatever. Paul
