Reminds me of the Discover Brokerage ads with the tow-truck driver who owns his own island ("Well, technically, it's a country...").

An interesting sign of a market top.

Some in the Boston area were saying the over-the-top opulence at the Ryder Cup was another interesting signal...

I had a much more subtle (but telling) experience just yesterday. I was discussing where the market is going and
how to avoid being trampled with an uncle of mine who is planning retirement. Man's and engineer with a graduate
degree.
What he could not get past was his argument - "eventually the whole thing will go up" and he was unable to acknowledge
the risk for someone who is a year or two from retirement.

As a matter of fact, I met a new neighbor who is a daytrader. They are everywhere.

My EBAY 130 puts were in the money the monday after expiration, and would of made up for losses on the 105s and 100s.

I don't know whether to continue to lose money on puts or not.
