While there is only one person on this thread that I find particularly offensive who fancies himself a comedian, Prograstinator's use of "idiot" missed the intelligence you constantly display... Michael. You're saying that what you think someone thinks of him or herself is "offensive" to you? I wish we could spend a few posts on this. We have a multi-threaded, multidemensional community forum going here. We have no moderator. I find it to be a generally INCLUSIVE community. Everyone has their unique contribution. EVERYONE. Sometimes Mephisto and the girls (and JDN) will go off on roses or cats. Charles and Pamina might be talking about fat ladies and opera lenses. Prognosticator is always walking a thin line of between caffiene and alcohol and being chemically balanced. Who knows what I'm talking about. I'm in the middle of quitting smoking. Twister is moody and brooding. Qwiksand agrees with EVERYTHING. Everyone thinks SOMEBODY is an 'idiot'. For me it's Dale J. Maybe for you, it's me. Whatever. It's been an anxious free for all on the thread in advance of earnings the past few days. At least we keep the spam in check. We regulate each other pretty well, and I would hope we would encourage others (particularly lurkers and newbies) to post without worry of 'offending' someone's sensibilities. There is a next button. It's difficult to use in this message context, but I do use it occasionally. "Twister, you're an idiot" wasn't said in a mean spirited way by Proggy, I'm sure. It wasn't a hit and run. Twister used similar words of his own toward another fellow thready just the other day. He didn't have an issue with free expression *then. Anyway, lets not over regulate our use of expression or be quick to be offended. Apart from there being real dollars involved (except for twister), this is all a fun thing and a light hearted endeavor. At least that's what I get out of it. That's just me. -JCJ
