CHATSWORTH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1999--The top players of the IT industry today put their
might behind the government's pledge to make the UK the best location for e-commerce when they signed up
to Hyporium(TM).

Other manufacturers including Axent and Equiinet have also recognized the benefits of Hyporium's(TM)
revolutionary trading system and signed up to the hub.

Hyporium(TM) is a real-time trading hub which allows end users, resellers, distributors and manufacturers to
trade electronically over the Internet. Designed to help everyone involved in IT trade embrace electronic
commerce, Hyporium(TM) is set to move into six other European countries, allowing distributors all over Europe
to provide real-time electronic catalogs which include product, pricing and credit information into the trading
hub.

Hyporium can integrate manufacturers' electronic product catalogs and real-time stock and pricing from
Compaq, 3COM and IBM distributors into the trading hub. Resellers can procure easily and efficiently by
visiting one Web site. In addition, end users can select and purchase Compaq, IBM and 3COM products and
services from resellers through an easy to use and efficient process.

this innovative trading hub brings to IBM and its partners.'

Compaq e-commerce Director UK, William Knocker stated: ``We are impressed by the potential of

Mark Hollister, Global e-commerce Director, 3COM, said: ``A key part of 3COM's e-commerce strategy is to
support our channel partners who want to offer our products and services via the Internet. By working with
Hyperchannel, we can enable our partners to add a convenient online purchasing method to complement their
existing customer services and support.'

Oracle's Marketing Manager for General Business, Nigel Thomas, said: ``Oracle's e-commerce strategy
includes expanding the market opportunities, improving business process efficiencies and creating new ways

forward to increasing our European presence even more through Hyporium(TM). What we find really exciting is
the unique ability of this solution to extend the reach of e-commerce to our small and medium sized customers
