Today is the the second last day to cover short positions if one wants to avoid a run up to earnings accompanied by a stock split announcement. We could get analyst comments just ahead of the earnings and that is another reason why one might want to square positions in AOL or go long. Case is already very positive and i bet the earnings and probable stock split will scare a lot of shorts.

It is now moving---maybe 120 by the afternoon if we don't get the market selloff today. Investors generally like to buy just ahead of key economic data especially when so much negativity is already priced into the stock.
