Silver is pickled when making jewelry and silverware. I think it's used to give an interesting, textured finish, but now I think I have to look that up, and my books are still in boxes.

I couldn't get to sleep last night, and then I didn't wake up until noon. I did get up at eight and wake Nick up and ask him to make his own breakfast and get himself to school, the bus stop is right outside the house. Groggy.
