DJ:" cash..."

...my intent was to say that USD currency was losing value relative to JYen and euros, since June. When folks sell stocks & bonds and hold "cash", they are in effect "long USD" currency. Few Americans think of "cash" as "currency" - folks like you and I, who are constantly changing DM/euros/FF, etc., with USD are perhaps more accustomed to the denomination of the "cash" we are holding. When MadameGonzo lived in Paris, we would move our "cash" around between Bank money-market USD in our California BofA account, and Franc money-market funds in our BNParis account, for example. BTW, she still has her BNParis account... and her "open return" airline ticket (^_^)

You hold Bund bondz, iirc ?

Tell me/us about your experiences with bondz, DJ.
