the best thing to happen
History is too big a thing to see close up. We need another dozen or score of years to determine what was really significant, and trace the cause of the effects. In my opionion the best part of the Reagan years was when they were over.

Are any of you right wing zealots ready to defend the Republican's latest utterly stupid move in voting down the Nuclear Test Ban treaty? It seems to me the Republican's can't exist without an enemy and so are willing to grant the ultimate weapon to our enemies just to unite their knee-jerk followers.
