Actually the D-Box diagram gives us a bit of insight into Cubes recent acquisitions. The old 9100 decoder needs replacing. The current Cube AiVA chips can replace the Cube 9100, Lucent Demux (AV6220A) and MOT system controller (MC68340-16), and the decoder portion of the Crystal Audio Decoder (CS4920A, the DAC is still needed though). The acquisition of MCT might take care of the Phillips (SAA7183) PAL & Macrovision encoder. (Does Cube (or MCT) have a Macrovision license?). And the acquisition of TV/COM gives them the tuner QPSK Demodulator FEC... Interesting...
