very true...in a bull market. if this is not a bull market anymore, these statistics aren't worth #$%.
note that Shaeffer is 'short term bullish' since 08/23. the Dow so far topped out on 08/25.
since the table looking at prior VIXD spikes dates from '89 to present, obviously bear markets have not been included.
however, it seems to work for today so far<ggg>

How do you think that works into the tendancy for stocks to be weak the week following expiration? Does seasonality play into the move ie. in Oct or Sept versus January, April (good months for stocks)? Steve D.
