Quite an incredible, well timed - at the right time - transformation this company has made over the last 12 months to take advantage of the Internet - hook, line and sinker. It's been a long wait with some volatility holding this one, but I think that the company has a stream of hypergrowth quarters coming as success seems to be breeding success in their new B2B foray. This transformation was no secret as management has been talking about it for a year, but who knew what B2B was a year ago? They did, but we investors were clueless. Well, I'll speak for myself. It's not selling at unheard of multiples like start up Ariba and is becoming the darling of the industry. For lack of a better word - the old boy networking in the tech business seems to be the best advertisement i2 is getting. I remember when Geoff Moore made a comment about how everyone 'in the valley' was declaring Siebel the CRM gorilla. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Moore or Kippola or Johnson had some views on i2 within the next six months in reference to what the 'valley' thinks. BB
