I actually only day trade occasionally. Usually I position trade. As for your other question, I'm a drycleaner. <G> You can always charge anything you want. Whether anyone pays it or not is another question. The concept is that if your exposure to a gap up is too high, you are reluctant to take additional positions increasing that exposure, and eager to take positions that reduce your exposure, so you change your bids and asks accordingly. If some other option writer wants the positions that you don't want, the market bid-ask may stay the same. Carl
