If your side wins, My side? I'm an American, so what side are you on? That's really one of my big complaints about Reagan and his era, it was the era of no compromise. It's like the old hippie mantra, Don't trust anyone over 30. Only now it's don't trust anyone. Every little issue has to be presented in an advesarial way with a perceived importance on the most trivial of matters. Future historians will treat our era the way they want to treat it and will no doubt change their minds several times until they become more interested in some newer events.
