Annette Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was busy going to all cash!<g> Just kidding with you although I was doing some short term investing. My thinking is that in the month of October anything goes so I started taking a defensive posture a month ago in my trading account by taking profits into rallies and only making short term position or daytrades when opening up new positions. I also have a very long term portfolio that has been through more October surprises than I care to think about so I just leave that where it is and don't worry about it. All of that portfolio is in stocks you don't mind holding through even major bear markets. This is just how Im doing it and it is what makes me feel comfortable. I took an overnight position in this stock today FWIW. askresearch.com I also traded IGOC which was an IPO today but don't have any position in it now.
