Clinton is enjoying the popularity afforded all those who occupy the White House during good economic times. Unfortunately, he's also taking credit for those same good times. Today's good times stem from Ronald Reagan's efforts, not Clinton's, a fact the media refuses to acknowledge.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. Sorry for repeatedly misspelling Ronald Reagan's name.

P.P.S. Too bad RR didn't have a Republican Congress. If he had, we wouldn't be facing the mess left by the Democrats' borrow and spend policy. Now that a Republican Congress has put some discipline into government spending, Clinton wants to take credit for being responsible for a budget surplus.
