At the risk of being anal and while I we are in a deeper meaning mode: In terms of presymbolic utterance: "shipment delays will not have a "material impact" on its operations, " may mean that over the quarter things will balance out, BUT read in conjunction with "is warning retailers that" and "expects spot delays of shipments" on some products headed for retail outlets," may mean a warning shot fired across the bow of the retail outlets that CPQ is going to squeeze the retail channel in favor of the Direct Distribution cmgi yahoo website model" and of course, this would have no effect on total sales.
