Well stated Sleeper,

Downside risk is minimal at these levels when compared to future upside potential.
Hence, I had no choice but to purchase more at $56...:-)

>>If you are both a trader and a buy-and-hold as you indicated, why take one side of this issue,e.g., the trader side? Clearly there is more to GNET than the technical charts and you know that, or else you wouldn't be holding your long term position.<<

to answer your question, if i own over 2,500 shares of a stock long and have become very familiar with it's trading patterns over a fairly long period of time, then what is wrong with holding my long position and trading short term on the dips ? i dont understand your issue ..

furthermore, if you like you say now (60) is a good buying level and it should go up from here, then i miss this particular buying opportunity, right now. thats ok, there will be others.. but, i would rather wait to hit it at 47 or so and minimize my downside risk. if you personally feel this is the time to get in, i certainly wish you the best of luck. august through the end of october is a tough season for techs.

but, i plan on holding my long position for many years to come. i wish everyone the best of luck... everyone is a winner with go2net !
