Unlikely to announce split before shareholders meeting

They can announce anytime. The only thing they would state is that it is subject to shareholders increasing outstanding shares. There is nothing unusual about it---check out JDSU as just one example. From memory, i think SUNW did the same thing (although i am not sure of this one). I know that many companies do this and i believe AOL will take this route simply because they want to keep the positive momemtum in their stock. If they do not, they risk reducing the value of their "currency"--which is their stock of course.

It should rally both days ahead of next week. I am expecting the 140 mark sometime next week.
