I'm not sure what you're saying.
European-style options (most index options except OEX) stop trading on 3rd Thurs**.
American-syle (equities and OEX) stop trading at the close on 3rd Fri (4:02p ET for equities and 4:15 for index).
There are lots of CBOE options (equity and OEX) that trade on expiration Fri, just not the european index options.
there... did that confuse things even more? ;-)

the cboe site list specific contract specifications, including expiration, etc.
