Hi don

AG pulled the plug ..

federalreserve.gov

High points:

portfolios are not properly evaluated unless catastrophic economic events are calculated in. Events that have taken place throughout human history from tulip times to Russian stock market.

Risk calculations are improper without taking into consideration such normal human events.

Cash reserves need to be maintained for such events. Even though such reserves seem to be dead weight most of the time .. just like fire insurance premiums are until the fire takes place.

see the SP9Z as a result of the implied recommendation to generate more cash reserves.
