OT: Ben is indeed the Max-Pain(TM) expert and original. The reason I came up w/ my own calculation is because I wanted to be able to run it any day on any ticker. I do not and have never claimed to perform calculations in any way similar to Ben's. (Ben, you should trademark 'maxpain' as well ;-) We actually have traded PM's before on this... I actually 'solved' the problem of having to manually 'massage' incoming data... it is now done programmatically, which is how I can do calcs so easily now.
