Interesting fact on SCH by GS report:
Year to date, SCH has generated $74 billion in net new customers assets, 30% better than the $57 billion in net flows over the first none months of 1998, and THREE times BETTER than MERILL LYNCH's $24 billion year to date.

BTW GS strongly reaffirms its buy rating on SCH.

Oops...I found a partial answer to my Question about Mayer & Schweitzer in the PRNewswire release linked to post 960:.

"In addition, our Nasdaq market maker subsidiary Mayer & Schweitzer now trades over 4,800 stocks, up 1,000 over the last three months. As measured by AutEx©, Mayer & Schweitzer handled 9.4% of Nasdaq share volume during September 1999, up from 8.7% during September 1998."

So, they must be something right!
