BRCM up 4 7 /16 on instinet 3rd quarter earnings better by 4.. SUNW also up in after market after good report. (both were momentum and earnings plays on both the watch list (oct 12 and today 'Stocks to watch on earnings front are BRCM" and SUNW also today's WL) and in the newsletter/calendar) VRTS declares a stock split and its up (look at LGTO tomorrow also).. Shares of Broadcom Corp. (NasdaqNM:BRCM - news) jumped about five points to 121-3/4 after the bell after the communications chip maker surpassed analysts' profit estimates on expanded product lines and recent acquisitions. NEW YORK, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Shares of online advertising company, DoubleClick Inc. (NasdaqNM:DCLK - news) dropped three points in after-hours trade despite reporting third quarter results that beat Wall Street's estimates, traders said. (how about anticipatory upswing instead of that dismay) DCLK had it BRCM didnt both are in different stages of their momentum.... are they really that dumb?
