Brock, there's a México thread if you'd like to talk about the country in general - Subject 23875

I'm quite comfortable investing there, for obvious reasons. No question that there are problems, as there are everywhere. Just different problems - for instance, if Aber had developed Diavik in the state of Sonora, they would be mining it already ... but on the other hand, they would have lost 40% of it to the local priísta jefes. You win some, you lose some.

No question that there is gold and silver there, and lots of it in areas mined by ancient methods. I bought Corner Bay, bay.to, today. Watching Minefinders, mfl.to, but not buying yet. Bill Murphy, who started this thread, used to like ECU, ecu.m ... don't know if he still does.

The principal laws are online - cddhcu.gob.mx
... but no english translations yet, as far as i know. México is changing all the time, still a long way from perfect, but then aren't they all.
