I don't even know if Time Warner uses CMTO. My guess is they're waiting for DOCSIS. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I have RoadRunner, in which I am well pleased, however the modem is Motorola. I questioned tech support about future options and they indicated Docsis approvals would guide future purchases of headends and modems, but not aware of vendor preferences at this point.
