OT if the PUT OI is for Oct, then it's natural for OI to go down the few days towards expiration. otherwise, I'm not sure you can determine anything from it unless you examine the individual trades on T&S, and even then it is difficult to be sure. mytrack: they drop their (option) volume #'s all the time. if you restart midday, often the vol #'s disappear. but they can disappear at anytime :-) also, I've noticed inaccurate quotes when, near expiration, bid quotes go blank (no bids/ 0) and then pop up again. Otherwise, their bid/ask are right on.
