Gary, TMR is my one small E$P stock to watch. I've traded it once, in and out at 4.25, wanted $ to buy favs in recent blowoff. I like JPQ's analysis.

JPQ, don't let old Slider get to you. Actually you handled the TMR and other small E$P downturns well. I read your thoughts/rationale, and it appeared to me to be rather unemotional considering the margin bind you got into. Also running and lifting were effective ways to handle stress that I used to do before I got lazy (old?).

Artic: Great call of the OSX bottom of 65. I've been raising cash, but keeping large stash of HAL (34+) for at least 40. So far I've not sold a oil stock for a loss (ignoring commissions). Currently like laggards RIG, FLC, and NBR.

Slider: Are we having a bad hair day? LOL I read all of your posts, finding you to be an interesting fellow. While I can usually follow your reasoning, I am not comfortable with your (to me) frenetic hopping about the patch. I'm recommending an old Dale Carnegie book, HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND ... <VBG>

Take care all. Winkman

OT: Sorry Gary, (sob) I can't talk now. Slider has (weep) hurt my feelings with his personal attacks. I was so distraught that I have started skipping his posts altogether. Think I'll go off and have a good (boo-hoo) cry now. :o)

Seriously though, thanks for the technical insight. If you're right I will be a very wealthy SOB (Son of a B, Not Slider On the Black). Unfortunately I will also be in for one hell of a tax bill if I don't stop trading for a year (11 months now).

TMR held up very well as stocks like CRK and RRC did a crash and burn. After months of intelligent posts both pro and con, the Yahoo thread has suddenly lit up with childish posts. Strangely, it occured within hours of my post to SOB regarding CRK. ;o) That's a good sign (IMO) - it means anyone can figure out TMR is a bargain. I also found a very interesting post on the Raging Bull TMR thread regarding the actual drilling status. Things are definitely looking up.
