No gentlemen and ladies, I haven't bailed and no DS, I'm not peed off.

At the moment, I'm solidly distracted by an impending move to South Carolina from Florida. Traveled there for 10 days, back now, just in time for a possible hurricane. Not all bad. It'll give me time to catch up with the recent volume on the thread. You folks have sure been busy!

I might add that with the sale of my Florida condo, and no plans to buy a replacement in the Carolinas, the proceeds are going into the market. This will be the first time I have a five-figure chunk to disperse, and the prospect (of getting it right, or wrong) is giving me fits. On the one hand I know what the "safe" moves would be, (Q, C, M, I), but I am terribly envious of the possibly more rapid gains to be obtained in other issues.

I am sorely tempted to place the money in the safe places, and to margin perhaps a quarter (and not more) of that sum into faster waters.

Hi Uncle Frank and anyone else:

My investment club has The Gorilla Game for me to borrow so I'll reread but I noticed that the bookstore has a newer version (1999 update)...anyone read it and notice any difference?
I'm feeling very poor today so have to borrow instead of buy! (VVVVBG)
