Well, I have brought it up in the past, but not recently. I have gone to both the Carnegie and the Stage Delis, which have the added pizzazz of being "theater" delis. My favorite deli in the Washington area is in Silver Spring, near the District line, off of East- West highway, not far from the top of Rock Creek Park. It is a predominantly Jewish area, although it has retracted somewhat. I alternate between matzoh ball soup and borscht. I love fish platters: lox (or nova), whitefish, and sable. Some bagels, cream cheese, bermuda onions, maybe a tomato. Pickled tomatoes, kosher half dones, maybe some pickled beets. Occasionally, some chopped chicken liveer: bagel or rye, some egg, some bermuda onion. If you are not stuffed, maybe a piece of cheese cake.......
