Semi2000,

Your chart is very useful. One minor correction is that the EPS for previous quarters needs to be adjusted for the split. Every other line looks fine. It also highlights why Cohu EPS may have seemed a bit light relative to their record sales as this quarter at 36 cents was a fair bit below the record EPS of 45 cents. The "Sales General & Adminstrative" expenses jumped very substantially. By $2.2 million and usually they do not vary much with the sales level. When the 10Q comes out hopefully we can see what caused SG&A to jump so EPS projections for the 4th quarter will be easier. The $2.2 million increase after U.S. tax is probably about $1.5 million or about 7-8 cents per share. If the SG&A increase was a one time blip with the backlog we see next quarter could be a real blow out.

I for one think with the run away DRAM prices and the very high utilization overall in semi fabs that we will see orders take off from here pretty dramatically. This may be just the beginning and Cohu is already way ahead of the pack on EPS and PSR. Good luck!
