OT- Old Stock Collector:
do you actually "collect" old stock, or does it mean that you're an "old" stock accumulator? :) The reason I ask is that my dad was a market maker for some old Wall Street firms (i.e. Bache) in the late 60s and early 70s, many of whom went out of business, and has thousands of shares of ancient companies that he bought and has the certificates from. My question: any idea how I can research these old companies to see if any of them got taken over or just simply went kaput? Any thoughts would be helpful!

mojo!
