Heinz,

I firmly believe that Greenspan does not want this market in bubble territory as we go through the (as it's now called..) "century date change."

Anyone who doubts that y2k may have a enormous effect on our markets -- and world markets -- should do a bit of research.

A good place to start is

senate.gov

and in particular, the "100 days" report on the page:

senate.gov

the y2k pessimists will say that the Senate reports are overly optimistic and a careful exercise in "perception management." Those who scoff at y2k will, I'm sure, simply ignore or ridicule them, as they have other y2k-related information.

Knowledge is power, <g>

regards,

doug
