Ron, we are in a high risk period still, but when you start getting a lot of fear in the markets you have to be careful if you are playing the short side, which i am right now.

Gonzo's, post stirred the straw and i noticed this thread was on the hot list that nite.

Actually i believe his post may be closer to reality than most will believe, i have what may be a valid elliot count from 1974 that puts us in wave 5 of 5 and the final leg up in the bull market and there are plenty of peaking sentiment indicators that concur with that, but as a trader you always make sure you have an out even if you believe all the ducks are lined up, just in case one goes quack.

Gold hasn't broken the downtrendline from 96 yet, but that market has plenty of bottoming sentiment and chart patterns.

Gold is basically the inverse of the $USD, and there are plenty of indicators, that like the stock market, the internals of our economy mask what looks pretty on the outside.
