The difference this time is a new element in this spectacle, namely juggling act with nuclear missiles.

Yes, there is a big difference now, thanks to the collective stupidity of the Indian bomb lobby and the government, and the supporters of the government, both at home and abroad, that went with them.

Pakistan can now launch military incursions into India with no absolutely accountability either on the domestic or on the international front, comfortable in the assurance that the Indian army would not dare launch any "hot pursuit" across the border for fear that a conventional war might escalate into a nuclear war.

That is why India is staying alert.

You bet they have to! Not that it will help them much though.

I think someone is irrational to brand India's policies -- that have elevated the stock market by 50%, brought US/West closer, and have taken a failed state (called Pakistan) to the brink of total capitulation -- "stupid."
