Voltaire, I agree. His comments will be ignored or create a buying opportunity.

How about this scenario:

First I would state that his statements are not a big deal.
What happens? "Flight to quality"!!!! This sends the bond yield downward in a big way. That means stocks start looking more attractive and the cash on the sidelines finally gets back in. It is a vicious cycle if you are a bear. <g>
IMHO, only when earnings stop growing might we face such selloffs. The selloffs he refered to were short lived.

However, i think he will be ignored as he doesn't have any credibility in determining stock valuations--sort of like some of the old time bears.

It's frustrating when one can't be at the computer during volatile hours. I missed the low on Q, checked in late morning, put in a limit order for more Jan 200's hoping Q would continue to falter a bit, and I'd catach the low, but Q made a solid recovery at that point and my order never got filled, as I discovered when I got home this eve. Hope I get a chance again tomorrow.

V,

I hear you, but I wish they would just leave it alone. Know what I mean?
