T, It definitely looks like a Paper Chase day today. <g> However, I disagree with you about the speculative stuff just being entertainment. Where we disagreed on options in the past was that you paid high premiums for Leaps while I buy cheap, nearer term options. I think that is an important difference. The high premium Leaps win more often, but when they lose, you lose too much. Net, net is that you have to get lucky right away to make money, which is the same scenario as for the cheaper, near term options. So, I think the spec stuff does make sense, but you have to go counterintuitive and really spec, using a 90/10 or similar strategy to keep your head above water.

That being said, I gave up way too soon on Schwab. Oh, well, so many overpriced stocks, so little 10%. <g>
